A LIFE COACH TO GET YOUR MOTIVATION BACK

What is a Life Coach?

A life coach is someone who can guide you to get clarity about yourself. Someone who helps you understand what is blocking you from finding real confidence in yourself. Someone who gets you focused on what you really want in life.

We all need a little help sometimes, especially when it comes to self-discovery. Whether your goal is to be more confident or to find fulfillment, it can be quite difficult to figure out the way. That’s where a life coach comes in.

What does a Life Coach do?

A Life Coach focuses on what is happening right now, finding out what a person wants next, and how that gap can be bridged.

A life coach can help you identify the obstacles that are blocking you, help you find your motivation back, and pinpoint any resistance to change.

There are coaches specialized in different areas. You can find leadership coaches, executive coaches, health coaches, business coaches. A life coach is most helpful when you’re thinking about your overall future.

Why do you need a Life Coach?

Imagine how powerful it can be that someone else, a professional, reflects back at you what you say and see to open up your mind and to identify your blind spots. It’s more than just setting goals and reporting progress. Life Coaching is about transformation. You need a life coach when you want to:

  1. Break your negative patterns
  2. Be aware of how you sabotage yourself
  3. Adopt thoughts and behaviours that are good for you
  4. Figure out what your passions are
  5. Boost your self-confidence
  6. Empower yourself
  7. Make difficult decisions
  8. Communicate more effectively
  9. Improve relationships
  10. Change Career
  11. Start your own business
  12. Get in contact with yourself

I can help you to become more peaceful and happy, to feel more of your good feelings and be more comfortable with the bad ones.

You will learn to make small changes in the way you feel, think and act and you will come to realize that these small changes can make a huge difference.

Is a Life Coach the same as a therapist?

A Life Coach is not the same as a therapist, because they have distinct roles and serve unique purposes. Therapists focus on healing, treating mental health conditions, and helping people work through trauma and other past issues.

While working with a life coach may help deal with specific unresolved issues, the coaching process is goal-directed, client-focused, rooted in the present and future-oriented.

Generally a life coach cannot treat depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions. To that end, a life coach should never be considered a substitute for a mental health professional.

Life Coach Amsterdam

As a life coach in Amsterdam I offer coaching sessions in my studio in the city centre. The sessions last approximately one hour. The coaching sessions can be held in English, Italian and Spanish. I draw upon a range of different tools when I coach. I don’t have a predefined program because every person and every situation is different. My aim is to use everything at my disposal to support you to find real clarity and understanding.

Online Life Coach

Life coaching sessions can take different forms. I conduct many sessions online via Zoom or Skype. Online coaching has gained in popularity especially in the last year due to Covid -19. I always leave the choice to you whether to do the sessions in person or online.

Some of the benefits of an online life coach:

  • You skip the driving and parking and instead have private, comfortable sessions in your pajamas on your couch.
  • You can have a session during your lunch break or before going to work in the morning.
  • Wherever you live … all of a sudden you have an endless amount of choice when choosing a life coach.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

In the introductory session, we will talk about the results you would like to achieve, how you want to feel, and what you want to experience when you get to the place you would like to be.

During the call, I evaluate if my coaching program is what you need or if a different path is more appropriate for you. In case we decide to continue, we will focus on the area(s) of your life that you want to change, creating a plan and defining the next steps for the transformation you desire.
