LIFE COACH ROTTERDAM

A life coach is someone who can guide you to get clarity about yourself. Someone who helps you understand what is blocking you from finding real confidence in yourself. Someone who gets you focused on what you really want in life.

We all need a little help sometimes, especially when it comes to self-discovery. Whether your goal is to be more confident or to find fulfillment, it can be quite difficult to figure out the way. That’s where a life coach comes in.

I am a life coach in Rotterdam. I have supported hundreds of people to live better, to break through the personal challenges that hold them back. My coaching is about enabling an inner state, a state of real clarity and confidence. Personal growth begins with daring to really look within, and I aim to be your partner in that process. Only by becoming awake to your blind spots you create the basis for real change.

What is coaching

Coaching is about identifying the obstacles that are blocking you, helping you find your motivation back, and pinpoint any resistance to change. By gaining a deeper understanding of the issue, whatever it may be, with as much clarity as possible, a path forward will automatically present itself.

My role as coach is being an enabler of such deep understanding, whatever the specific question that you bring is going to be.

How does the process of coaching work

How does the process of coaching work? Change is never easy, particularly if you’ve been in the same situation for years.

Being human, we have a preference for the familiar. Making a fundamental shift in your life can feel difficult.

You have your own unique gifts and constraints that shape your particular situation. It is ultimately the richness of your own personal journey that creates new possibilities for the future.

My coaching program includes 7 x 60 minute sessions of one-to-one coaching that support you to:

— Look deeply at where you are today in your work-life

— Understand your values

— Uncover your unique blend of skills and experiences

— Understand what holds you back

— Find the confidence to initiate change

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

ONE-TO-ONE LIFE COACHING PROGRAM

During 3 months we will work on your mind, emotions and energies. We will work on your mind by exposing the unconscious beliefs that are blocking you and how to switch to more positive thoughts. We will find out through various exercises what your core values are and your passions.

We will work on your emotions and energies through guided meditations, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.

In the introductory session, we will talk about the results you would like to achieve, how you want to feel, and what you want to experience when you get to the place you would like to be.

During the call, I evaluate if my coaching program is what you need or if a different path is more appropriate for you. In case we decide to continue, we will focus on the area(s) of your life that you want to change, creating a plan and defining the next steps for the transformation you desire.

NB: One of the most common misconceptions about life coaching is that it is a kind of therapy. It is not. A life coach doesn’t replace a psychologist. Consider therapy if you experience mental health symptoms that cause distress in your life (i.e., anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating). Consider life coaching if you want to challenge yourself or break out of your comfort zone.

About Rotterdam

Rotterdam is the second largest city in the Netherlands. Rotterdam is also Europe’s largest seaport.

Before World War II, Rotterdam was famous for its medieval architecture. Unfortunately, these architectural wonders were almost completely destroyed during German air raids in 1940. Rotterdam was rebuilt after the war in accordance with modern design standards, which led to the construction of its current, monumental skyline. In fact, Rotterdam is probably the best place in the Netherlands for modern architecture. Rotterdam’s impressive buildings include the Erasmus Bridge, Euromast and the Maastoren.
